Professional Architectural Design

Our RIBA certified architects produce a full set of professional architectural plans for the design of your new loft conversion. You will be able to liaise directly with your architect when making revisions, at your convenience.

Structural Calculations

We compile a Book of Calculations, so we know what the load bearings are and where the steels will need to be placed in your new conversion.

Submission to the Council

If your project can be done with Permitted Development, we will send your plans to the council for a Certificate of Lawfulness approval. If your project needs Planning Permissions, we will send your plans to the council and liaise with them to get your work passed.

Instruct an independent Building Control company

We will instruct a Building Control company who will visit your property three times throughout the build. They will visit once when the steels are in, once when the insulation is complete and once when the build is finished.

Put in touch with an independent Party Wall Surveyor (if necessary)

A party wall is an adjoining wall between two properties. A party wall agreement is an agreement between you and your neighbour(s), which protects both parties when work is being carried out on a party wall. You only require a party wall agreement if you live in a semi-detached or terraced property and share an adjoining wall with another property. We will discuss this with you during your consultation.

Dedicated Project Manager

You will have a dedicated project manager for the duration of your project who will co-ordinate the various trades needed and visit your site on a regular basis. Your Project Manager will not only oversee the necessary trades, but will also guide you through the whole process, helping you make decisions and sharing helpful and innovative design ideas.

Provide a completion pack with a 5-year structural guarantee.

When the loft conversion work is completed, we send you a completion pack containing all your certificates and guarantees. We also provide a 5-year structural guarantee for your new loft conversion.
